McAllister could stay on in a more junior role, but with Klopp bringing his
own assistants there are no senior coaching roles for the pair
It's all change at Anfield, with the Brendan Rodgers era a distant memory
Gary McAllister and Sean O’Driscoll will not be a part of Jurgen Klopp's backroom team.
The pair were only recruited during the summer, but with the new manager bringing his own assistants there is no senior coaching role under the revamped regime. It remains to be seen if McAllister accepts a position in the junior ranks.
There are discussions, however, to accommodate club legend McAllister in some capacity at Anfield.
As well as McAllister and O’Driscoll, Liverpool’s head of opposition analysis Chris Davies – who joined the club with Rodgers in 2012 – has lost his job.

So too has Head of Performance Glen Driscoll.
However, it is not a complete overhaul. Head of fitness and conditioning Ryland Morgans – one of the most highly rated in his field – is to be retained. Morgans also works with the Welsh national team.
