WWE Night of Champions 2015: Fan invades ring but is wrestled out by security guards

Any fan entering the ring area will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,' read an official statement from the WWE

A WWE fan invaded the ring at the Night of Champions pay-per-view on Sunday night.

With Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose facing the Wyatt Family with a special mystery guest - which turned out to be a returning Chris Jericho - a fan, dressed in Shield gear, entered the ring in an attempt to become their third man.
Unfortunately for the fan, he was quickly spotted by security and bustled out of the ring.
Reigns and Ambrose were confused about the whole incident, not even realising the fan had got through the ropes, while Bray Wyatt appeared pretty entertained.

Following the end of the PPV, the WWE released a statement on the incident.

"WWE takes the safety of our performers very seriously and any fan entering the ring area will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
